You will notice that one of the four pictures in the Heather’s Hints logo represents education.  It is important to me that everyone is properly educated when it comes to saving money.  Saving money is not only an art but a science, and there are many things to learn about the science of saving money.

It’s a Process

Educating yourself on couponing is a continuing process, to keep up with the often frequent changes in store policies and programs. If you have been couponing for a while now and maybe even have taken one of mine or another coupon 101 class, please know that there is so much more to couponing.  You could be saving even more money than you are now with just a bit more knowledge on a few very important subjects.

Get Ready to Learn

Here are just some of the things that are discussed in my advanced couponing class:

• The tricks of the trade for advanced couponing in the big three drug stores: Walgreens, CVS, and Rite  Aid
• The art of effective meal planning
• How to take advantage of sales cycles and only buy what you need at the best price
• How to spot and avoid marketing techniques when shopping
• How to keep and maintain a price book.
• And much more!

Not About the Extremes

Due to a certain popular TV show (clears throat here), couponing has gotten a bad wrap in some circles and why I call this class Extremely Smart Couponing.  It’s not about being extreme and getting 500 free candy bars, but it’s about being “extremely smart” in doing everything you can to save money on the things your family needs.

You can join me this Tuesday night, September 18th at 6:00pm at KidVenture, located at 2650 Leeman Ferry Rd in Huntsville.  The cost of the class is $9.19 if you register in advance here. This fee covers the cost of your book and supplies needed for the class.

Registration ends at noon on Tuesday the 18th.  You may also buy tickets at the door Tuesday night but the cost at the door will be $10 (cash or check only) and seating is limited. So register NOW!
